Malaysia has truly been the hub for Asian culture. Multiculturalism like nowhere else in the world has made it a tourist hot spot over the recent years. The diversity exists not only in the culture but also in the physical beauty. From skyscrapers in the most modernized cities to the wooden houses built on stilts, the country will make you gasp.

The country allures you with a lot of attractions. And this article will take you through a journey covering almost everything that you’d miss out on in case you don’t visit this wonderland. The recently developed metropolitan of Kuala Lumpur, has some of the tallest skyscrapers. The Petronas towers are the second highest buildings in the world and can blow your mind off with their architecture. The city also gives you a lot of shopping opportunities with its huge shopping malls. Apart from the towers and malls, the city also keeps its traditions alive with its culturally rich areas like the Bukit Bintang and Chinatown, where you can even shop for almost every taste and budget. That is not it wither, the KL bird park, Aquaria KLCC, National Planetarium, National Science Centre, Library and Cineleisure Damansara, Putrajaya cruise add laurels to the most coveted city by the tourists. All in all it has anything and everything to offer that a tourist spot can boast of.

Moving on to the Tioman islands located in the South China Sea. It is beauty at its best. It is known for its dragon like appearance, which also reminds us that it is not the only attraction of this place. Nature has blessed this place like nothing else. Tropical jungles, vivid flora and fauna, mountains, waterfalls and diverse aquatic life, do you want more? Amazing beaches and golden sand, the place is a sheer bliss. Furthermore, if you don’t happen to be satisfied with golden sand then Malaysia also has white sand for you. Lo!

This is something which only Redang island can boast of. Easily accessible coral reefs distinguish it from many other counterparts. This is the ‘it’ place for scuba divers. Without any exaggeration it is the best spot for you to spend the weekends. Langkawi, the place of islands, beaches and sight seeing. Beaches, namely, Pantai Cengang, Pantai Tengah and Pantai Kok, if you are a true beach lover you can’t afford to miss out on them. Islands, Pulau Payar Marine park, Pulau Rebak and many more, think breathtaking islands, think Malaysia.

To many people, Penang represents Malaysia like no other place. It is a true blend of modernity and tradition. Also, it has been declared by the UNESCO as world cultural heritage site. Famous as the food capital of Malaysia it offers you a wide range of delicious cuisines and delicacies.

On the contrary to places like Penang and Kuala Lumpur there is a place called Malacca which has existed for a much longer time and is quiet and blissful. Malaysian tradition can be seen at its peak in Malacca. Slopping rooftops, micro culture and a lot of heritage to boast these are the ingredients that go in to make this wonderful place.

Taman Negara is a place that boasts bio-diversity like none else. Taman Negara basically means a ‘national park’. So, that explains it for you the speciality of this special, special place. It’s a tropical rain forest and one of the world’s best kept natural wonders, not to be found anywhere on the face of this earth. It also is famous as the oldest jungle in the history of jungles.

Coming up is another national park by the name of Gunung Mulu. Given the spectacular view and nature at its best, no wonder, Gunung Mulu has been declared as a UNESCO world heritage site. Having told you so much about the beaches and a series of natural parks, don’t think Malaysia does not have anything else to offer. There are oodles of things for you to explore you might get tired exploring but there is no way that Malaysia will run out of surprises for its guests.

Now for some mountains, Mt. Kinabalu is another tourist attraction of Malaysia. It is the highest mountain of South East Asia. It offers an awesome trek to the tourists through the lovely oak forest. Also, very rare flowers and trees welcome you on your way. It is a privilege for the tourists to come across such a naturally rich spot. Next on the list is the Cherating beach. Last but off course not the least. It is a place which offers sloping white sand beaches which for years has attracted backpackers from all over the world. One of the famous souvenirs is the self made batik. Cultural shows, namely Wayang Kuilt and Silat form a part of the cultural heritage.
